From Chai to Beer..

From Chai to Beer..

Can’t really come to terms with the fact that it’s been over a year she’s here. However cliche this may sound, but it really does feel like yesterday that we got her home. A tiny little human, who could barely fit in my arms, I already feel you’re growing up too quick.

2020 may not have been the best year for the most of us, but it was the most special one for us, for we got upgraded to being mumma and papa from Avi and Rahul.

The year got along some major changes in my emotional state, from postpartum and adjusting to the new life with the baby and the pandemic to family moving countries and we adjusting to the different time zones. There were moments I would feel I wouldn’t be able to take it all, but then there were times my world (my closest people) came to my rescue. There were times I have felt my lower self, staying indoors was a challenge but I’m glad to have overcome this. I did take my own time but eventually it feels better.

I’ve always been around a lot of my friends (my world as I call them).

As much as I love my “me time”, I love having long conversations over chai and beer. With some it’s only chai and with others only beer, but then there are a few, where chai continues to Beer. Those special days are missed, whether in Viman Nagar, Pune; Green Park, Delhi or Sector 15, Chandigarh.
