Hold them back..

Hold them back..

Scribbled, re-scribbled and thought of so much in this last one hour before wanting to put down a very simple thing .. ..

That there are a very few people with whom you can have heartfelt conversations about anything in this world. A safe space where there will be no judgements. Be with those people. Talk to them. Reach out to them even if they’re not able to or are holding back.

Each day, I miss that time when meeting someone was as easy as just thinking about the time it will take to reach them.

I’ve made friends, lost them.. .. Found my world, held them back only to find them drifting.

There are a very few who have actually called up to ask if I was ok as compared to so many who have tried to make me guilty and bluntly told me ‘Tere paas toh time hi nai hai and laughed at me‘ !

A little bit of compassion goes a long way. Many of us are going through a lot of challenges that we don’t talk about. Let’s be a little kind towards each other.

Agreed… some people do hold back (i am 1 amongst them) untill being asked.

Felt really good to open upto u yesterday.

I know we r thr for eachother but sometimes the nudge is required specially for ppl like me who get into a shell untill nudged.

I’m always here..you know it. And if that requires me to tell the same to you again and again, I’ll happily do that.

Freaking true. This resonates with so many of us. It’s imperative to understand that the sands of time never remain the same.

Some times one is forced keep one’s closed one’s in one’s heart but away from a close proximity, while battling the everyday trials and tribulations of life. Those who truly love us, understand this effortlessly. Those who don’t, are perhaps, not as close as we desire them to be. 🙂

A beautiful reminder, avi…just as many are not aware of our daily juggles,we are not aware of the same with others,as you have rightly said.infact not everyone around us needs to know of those juggles….
They are ours…. balancing them is our baby…… today we live in a world where nothing is private and infact many may feel guilty, keeping things to themselves…….one needn’t feel guilty about anything at all. being a generation apart from you, i feel today it’s more difficult to strike a balance than it was in the past…..sometimes we bare too much and then again we feel bad….infact as you write and as i read , funnily both may perceive the same thing as different….just flowing along, helping and being kind if someone seems open to receiving help and BEING KIND TO YOUR OWN SELF would really go a long way……lots of love your way….

I like the way you’ve said that each one of us perceives things differently..
And yes let’s be kind to our won self first..
