Yes! You’ve read it right and I did it my modifying my lifestyle, without any medication.
I did it under the guidance of a Nutritionist, who helped me understand my body type and what my body really needed to function better.
Few things that worked for –
No added sugar : Yes I only consumed natural sugar from fruits.
Strength Traning : This really helped me strengthen my core and pelvic muscles.
Less Carbs : More Protein and more complex carbs.
More colorful veggies.
No (almost nil) packaged food.
On the whole, the complete process made me become aware about so many ingredients that I was putting inside my body on a regular basis and the harm they were causing.
Now, I’ve become mindful about what I eat. I do munch and have sweets, but I try to make whatever I can at home and watch my portions.
I am 18 months postpartum, getting my periods on time and happy with myself. Also one things as we all know that plays a major role in controlling PCOD is being less stressed about things we cannot control.
